Using geometric corners to build a 2D mosaic from a set of image

چکیده
The main problem for building a mosaic is the computation of the warping functions (homographies). In fact two cases are to be distinguished. The rst is when the homography is mainly a translation (i.e. the rotation around the optical axis and the zooming factor are small). The second is the general case (when the rotation around the optical axis and zooming are arbitrary). Some eecient methods have been developed to solve the rst case. But the second case is more dif-cult, in particular, when the rotation around the optical axis is very large (90 degrees or more). Often in this case human interaction is needed to provide a rst approximation of the transformation that will bring us back to the rst case. In this article we present a method to solve this problem without human interaction for any rotation around the optical axis and fairly large zooming factors.

Using an Imperialistic Competitive Algorithm in Global Polynomials Optimization (Case Study: 2D Geometric Correction of IKONOS and SPOT Imagery)
The number of high resolution space imageries in photogrammetry and remote sensing society is growing fast. Although these images provide rich data, the lack of sensor calibration information and ephemeris data does not allow the users to apply precise physical models to establish the functional relationship between image space and object space. As an alternative solution, some generalized mode...

This study was conducted to understand the morphological variation of four populations of Schizothorax pelzami from Iranian inland waters. For this purpose, a total of 81 specimens were collected from the Bidvaz, Cheshmeh-Ali, Kalat and Aal rivers. After anesthesia, all specimens were fixed into buffered formalin and transferred to the laboratory. Then, the left sides of all individuals were ph...
متن کاملImage alignment via kernelized feature learning
Machine learning is an application of artificial intelligence that is able to automatically learn and improve from experience without being explicitly programmed. The primary assumption for most of the machine learning algorithms is that the training set (source domain) and the test set (target domain) follow from the same probability distribution. However, in most of the real-world application...
متن کاملTarget detection Bridge Modelling using Point Cloud Segmentation Obtained from Photogrameric UAV
In recent years, great efforts have been made to generate 3D models of urban structures in photogrammetry and remote sensing. 3D reconstruction of the bridge, as one of the most important urban structures in transportation systems, has been neglected because of its geometric and structural complexity. Due to the UAV technology development in spatial data acquisition, in this study, the point cl...
